Abstract

This article presents a scholarly analysis of the origin and development of civil society. It examines how the concept of civil society is reflected in the consciousness of its members, their awareness of their rights and duties, and the creation of conditions for their active political participation. The role and significance of non-governmental non-profit organizations in the lives of community members are also explored.
