This article proposes a methodological framework for promoting preschool children’s development through emotional engagement in preschool education settings in Uzbekistan. Emotional engagement is understood as children’s meaningful involvement in learning experiences that acknowledge their feelings, encourage curiosity, and provide supportive relationships with educators and peers. The framework integrates storytelling, imaginative play, music, movement, creative activities, and responsive adult communication within everyday preschool routines. Its purpose is to create opportunities for emotional expression, developing self-regulation, social participation, and sustained involvement in learning. Particular attention is given to individual developmental needs, linguistic backgrounds, sensory preferences, and family experiences. Educators are encouraged to recognise children’s emotional cues, offer choices, adjust activity demands, and support participation without requiring uniform emotional responses. Observation during play and routine activities is proposed as a means of informing instructional decisions and documenting participation over time. The article is conceptual and methodological; it does not report an implemented intervention or measured developmental outcomes. Its contribution is an adaptable framework for preschool practice and the professional preparation of future educators at pedagogical universities. Further empirical research is required to assess its feasibility, effectiveness, and suitability across different preschool environments.
