SEMANTIC AND MORPHOLOGICAL FEATURES OF THREE-STEM CONSONANT VERBS IN ARABIC

The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the formation mechanisms, grammatical features, and lexico-semantic scope of triliteral derived verbs ( أَبْوَا ب الْفِعْلِ الْمَزِي د ) in modern Arabic linguistics. Throughout the study, the specific derivational capabilities of each verb form—including intensity, causative and reflexive voices, reciprocity, gradualness, simulation/fictional states, changes in color and physical qualities, and expressions of request/desire—are illuminated using textual sources and illustrative examples.
