Abstract

This study examines the role of digitalization in improving the operational management of railway bridges. It analyzes the application of modern digital technologies, including Building Information Modeling (BIM), Internet of Things (IoT), Digital Twin, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, in railway bridge operation. The study highlights their contribution to real-time monitoring, predictive maintenance, efficient asset management, and data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, practical recommendations are proposed to enhance management efficiency, operational reliability, infrastructure safety, and the long-term sustainability of railway bridge systems through digital transformation.
