This article examines the poetics of the conflict between the individual and society in F. M. Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment." The conflict is analyzed not only as the ideological and thematic foundation of the work but also as a principle of the artistic organization of the text. The methodological basis of the study includes textual, structural-poetic, and hermeneutic methods of analysis.
