THE MAIN STAGES OF THE TECHNOLOGY OF PREPARING THE COCOON FOR UNWINDING

This article presents the results of research on the main stages of technological processes for preparing cocoons for washing. The technologies for filling the internal cavity of the cocoon with technological water, their current state and the results of research work on their improvement were also analyzed. A new type of device for receiving, transporting and storing cocoons was created and tested. A universal vacuum device for filling the internal cavity of the cocoon with technological water was created and tested in production conditions. The use of improved methods in production allows you to significantly improve the quality indicators of the obtained raw silk.
