THE REPRESENTATION OF IMAGE BEHBUDIY AND INTERPRETATIONS OF HIS PLAY “PADARKUSH” IN UZBEK THEATRE

The creative legacy of Mahmudkhoja Behbudiy plays a significant role in the formation and development of professional Uzbek theater. The article examines the history of the representation of Behbudiy’s image and the staging of his play “Padarkush” at the Samarkand Regional Musical Drama Theater and their place on the Uzbek stage. Related issues are analyzed from a theoretical perspective.
