Abstract

This article provides a comparative analysis of numerals in Chinese and Uzbek from structural, semantic, grammatical, and linguocultural perspectives. The study examines the hieroglyphic representation of Chinese numerals, their decimal-positional structure, and their use with classifiers, comparing them with the morphological formation of Uzbek numerals, including cardinal, ordinal, collective, and distributive forms. The article also discusses the role of numerals in everyday communication, education, trade, time expression, dates, monetary units, and cultural symbolism.
